Awesome vibes and cozy stay!
The room was super clean and spacious, love the big window in the corner! Beds were so comfy, no trouble sleeping. Marlynn at breakfast was like a ray of sunshine! Definitely kicked off my day right. Just wish the interior windows weren't so odd-looking, but that’s just a small thing. Overall, good times!

We recently stayed here while attending a fun anime convention, and the cozy rooms had a great AC and a charming atrium with free coffee. The quiet lounge area was perfect for relaxing and enjoying some private time. The only hiccup was the tight space with the pull-out couch in our second room, but overall, we had a pleasant experience!

Clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast is good, especially service by Marlynn. Parking situation is cramped and fills quickly.

The location near the Capitol provides easy access to government buildings and downtown attractions. The spacious bathrooms and thoughtful amenities like mouthwash elevate the stay beyond the basics.
The internal windows created a strange ambiance, leading to a stark lack of natural light. Additionally, the absence of a full-length mirror made getting ready a hassle, and the tight space around the pull-out couch next to the laundry room felt cramped, limiting movement and accessibility.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ascend Hotel. The room was clean and charming, perfect for resting after a long day. The bathroom was spotless, and the beds were comfortable, which made for a restful night. I appreciated the touch of a Keurig coffee maker in the room. it made mornings much easier. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of cool restaurants and the state capital. Staff members were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. However, the parking situation left much to be desired. The garage was tiny, and during peak times, finding a spot was quite the challenge. I opted for street parking, which was free on weekends but still felt a bit inconvenient. Also, the noise from the busy street made it hard to fully relax at night, especially since my room faced it. A little more soundproofing would help. Overall, a nice hotel but needs some tweaks for a better experience.

I stayed at Ascend Hotel for one night in a King Room. The location impressed me. it’s close to downtown attractions and dining spots. The staff greeted me warmly during check-in, which was a nice touch after a long journey. My room was clean and well-prepared, with all the basic amenities I needed. However, parking was a challenge. Limited spaces meant I had to search for a spot on the street, which was frustrating. The elevator experience was also off-putting. I felt startled when the front desk staff shouted instructions at me instead of approaching me calmly. This could definitely use some improvement. Overall, it’s a decent stay with potential, but they need to address the parking situation and ensure staff communication is more friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the complimentary cookies at check-in and the cozy lounge with free coffee and nice plants. The hotel has a great spot to relax by the courtyard and even a small workout area to recharge after a long day. Just a heads up, the rooms can be a bit tight if you need extra space, but overall, we had a lovely experience! 😊
